Worcester, MA (February 25, 2016) - The Worcester Common Skating Oval has officially closed for the season due to warmer than usual temperatures. The skating season, which started in early December, was originally planned to last through this weekend.
Because of the early closing, Worcester's 168th birthday party celebration has been moved to the official anniversary of Worcester becoming a city: Monday, February 29, 2016.
All are welcome to this free lunchtime event which will feature food trucks, giveaways courtesy of Worcester Wares, birthday cake and an art installation where people will be able to write their wishes for Worcester, courtesy of BlueHive.
