Worcester, MA (August 1, 2013) - The City of Worcester's Government Channel 12 announces the debut of the NEW video "The Making of a City Firefighter." The exclusive video captures the true essence of becoming a firefighter. The footage gathered shows the basic training techniques of what is involved from ladder work, to breathing apparatuses, to ventilating the roof and much more. The video production team compiled 20 hours of footage into a half hour of viewing pleasure.
The video follows four Worcester Firefighters - Todd O'Connor, Marcos Naranjo, Joshua Pollinger and Andrew Sebring - from the Fire Academy through their first year on the job.
The video will debut on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 8:30 PM. Replays will air Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 5:00 AM and 7:00 PM, and Sunday, August 4, 2013 at 12:30 PM and 7:00 PM on Government TV Channel 12.
