WORCESTER, Mass. – The City’s annual summer program, Fitness in the Parks, will kick off Monday, June 5.
The 12-week fitness program is presented by the Department of Health and Human Services and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts in partnership with the YWCA of Central Massachusetts and YMCA of Central Massachusetts.
The program runs from June 5 through August 27, Monday through Saturday at eight city parks. Classes range from Zumba to sports skills training to HIIT and yoga, all family friendly. The goal of the program is to create a healthier Worcester by providing residents with opportunities to engage in healthy eating, active living, and community building.
