The Worcester Department of Public Works & Parks (DPW&P) has launched an online survey seeking public input for its long-term water resources priorities. The survey can be found on the website at www.worcesterwaters.com.
Responses will help shape the Integrated Water Resources Plan (Integrated Plan), a 50-year plan for our water, sewer, and stormwater systems. This survey will help DPW&P ensure that the goals and priorities of the City’s residents and businesses are considered in the development of the Plan.
In the coming decades, the City’s water and sewer systems will face increasingly demanding state and federal regulations. Since much of our infrastructure is beyond its useful life, the Integrated Plan will help provide cost-effective solutions that provide the most benefit to our residents, businesses, and the environment.
Visit the Integrated Plan website at www.worcesterwaters.com for more information and to sign up to receive meeting notices and updates by email.
