WORCESTER, Mass. – The Department of Public Works & Parks will present the 2024 Paul J. Moosey Employee of the Year Award on Monday, May 20, 2024.
In honor and tribute to the late Paul J. Moosey, former Commissioner of the Department of Public Works & Parks, the department recognizes one employee each year who exudes the same passion and dedication day in and day out as Moosey did throughout his 36-year career with the City of Worcester. Moosey was never one to seek accolades, praise, or public attention; unassuming and ever modest in his approach, he simply went about the work of making Worcester a better, safer place for all who live, work, and visit the city.
