Construction Activity - Week of September 5th

Worcester, MA (September 2, 2016) - The Department of Public Works & Parks (DPW&P) advises motorists that there will be traffic delays at the following locations where resurfacing or sewer related construction activity will take place during the week of September 5, 2016. The usual hours of work will be from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Roadway Resurfacing Related Work
- Barclay Street - Harrison St. to Dorchester St.
- Burncoat Street - 50' North of Fairhaven Rd. to 75' South of Hartford Rd.
- Cambridge Street - Canterbury St. Southbridge St.
- Camp Street - Cambridge St. to End
- Cranston Street - Rochelle St. to End
- Faraday Street - Lancaster Terr. to Humboldt Ave.
- Franconia Street - June St. to Howland Terr.
- Franklin Street - Portland St. to McGrath Blvd. & Foster St. to Grafton St.
- Hamilton Street - Dupont St. to Coburn Ave.
- Harrison Street - Providence St. to Barclay St.
- Hartford Street - Burncoat St. to End
- Howland Terrace - Wetherell St. to Franconia Rd.
- Jacques Avenue - Wellington St. to Piedmont St.
- Maxdale Road - Cardinal Rd. to Pinnacle St.
- Monroe Avenue - Franconia St. to Pleasant St.
- North Lake Avenue - Sonoma Dr. to Nana Trail
Construction started Wednesday, August 3rd. This section of the road will be closed for approximately 4 months.
