WORCESTER, Mass. – The City of Worcester will host an unveiling of the Tobias Boland statue at Rockland Trust Plaza in the Canal District on Thursday, May 25.
Paying tribute to Tobias Boland and Benjamin Wright, who helped build the original Blackstone Canal, the City will unveil a statue honoring both men and their contributions. Positioned at the front of Rockland Trust Plaza, the statue will greet passersby as they make their way through the plaza, which serves as a gateway to Polar Park and a connection point between the Canal District and Downtown.
