Worcester, MA (August 19, 2015) - City officials will hold a press conference 3:30 PM Thursday at the Worcester Police Department to highlight the City's efforts to fight the ongoing opioid epidemic and get unwanted prescription drugs out of people's homes.

Officials will discuss the latest statistics on the epidemic in Worcester, detail the efforts being made by departments across city government and talk about steps everyone can take to help fight the epidemic and get unwanted or unused prescription drugs out of their homes and keep them from starting dangerous addictions.
