Worcester, MA (August 7, 2014) - The Worcester Division of Public Health announced yesterday afternoon that the health advisory issued for Lake Quinsigamond has been lifted, effective immediately. Results from yesterday's water quality sampling have indicated that the water quality levels have returned to acceptable levels.
"All samples obtained from Lake Quinsigamond indicate that the water has returned to acceptable water quality standards," said Derek Brindisi, Director of Public Health. "We are happy to report that the Division of Public Health is lifting the advisory and encouraging the public to resume normal activities in and around this area."
