WORCESTER, Mass. – The City of Worcester is inviting residents to attend one of three upcoming focus group meetings regarding the future of Cable TV and Public, Education and Government Access Television (PEG).
PEG channels provide a unique and important service to the community covering events including school performances, graduations, sports, government meetings, public events, and arts and culture. The City’s Cable TV license is set to expire in October and the City is seeking input from residents about the Cable TV and Community Media needs of the community.
These meetings will provide interested community members a chance to learn about the license renewal process and an opportunity to share input and requests for community media services in Worcester as part of the new franchise agreement.
Attendants will be entered into a raffle to win a gift certificate from Target. Refreshments will be served and residents can RSVP at surveymonkey.com/r/worcester-focus-groups.
