WORCESTER, Mass. – The City of Worcester invites the public and media to join the City of Worcester Department of Health and Human Services Thursday, June 27, 2024, to learn more about the Fitness in the Parks Summer Series program.
The Fitness in the Parks Summer Series is a 12-week program presented by the Department of Health and Human Services and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts in partnership with the YWCA of Central Massachusetts and YMCA of Central Massachusetts. The program runs from June 10 through August 31, Mondays through Saturdays at eight locations. Classes range from Zumba to sports skills training to HIIT and Yoga, all of which are family friendly.
The goal of this program is to provide Worcester residents with opportunities to engage in healthy eating, active living, and community building.
