On January 13th 2023, Worcester Police Vice Squad officers were conducting surveillance in the area of Park Ave and Maywood St. At about 10:15 AM, officers observed a hand-to-hand transaction outside a vehicle which had pulled into the Wendy’s parking lot. Officers developed probable cause to stop the vehicle, which they stopped on Beaver St.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Eric Dziczek, forty-two-years-old of Clinton. Officers discovered brass knuckles and several bags of what appeared to be fentanyl in the vehicle. Mr. Dziczek was placed under arrest and is charged with Trafficking in Fentanyl, Distribution of a Class A Substance (fentanyl), Possession with intent to Distribute a Class A Substance (fentanyl), and Carrying a Dangerous Weapon.
