On February 1st 2022, Worcester Police Vice Squad officers were conducting surveillance in the area of Fox St. Officers observed the driver of a Subaru pull up to multiple addresses in the area, beep his horn, and conduct hand-to-hand exchanges with individuals who approached his vehicle. Officers followed the vehicle to View St, where two individuals entered the vehicle and were driven for a short period of time before being dropped off. Officers stopped the two individuals and discovered bags of what appeared to be heroin.
Officer now had probable cause to arrest the driver of the Subaru, identified as Elvin Castillo-Leonard, thirty-two-years-old of Stafford St, for Distribution of Heroin. Officers stopped the Subaru near the corner of Vernon and Jefferson St. Officers found additional heroin on Mr. Castillo-Leonard, and placed him under arrest. He is charged with Distribution of a Class A Substance (Heroin) and Possession of a Class A Substance with Intent to Distribute. He will be arraigned in court.
