On January 13th 2022 Worcester Police Vice Squad officers were conducting surveillance in the area of Murray Ave and Chandler St. At about 5:45 PM, officers observed a vehicle pull up and a male on foot enter and exit the vehicle within twenty seconds.
Officers followed the vehicle, which drove to Salem St. A female on foot entered the vehicle, and officers observed the female exit the vehicle with an item clenched in her fist. Officers stopped the female and discovered what appeared to be heroin.
Officers followed the vehicle and stopped the operator near Canterbury and South Crystal St. The operator, identified as Michael Paris, twenty-nine-years-old of Douglas St, was placed under arrest for distribution of heroin. Officers located bags of what appeared to be heroin, cocaine and alparazolam on Mr. Paris. He is charged with Distribution of a Class A Substance (Heroin) 2nd or Subsequent, Trafficking in a Class A Substance (Heroin) 37-99 Grams, Trafficking in a Class B Substance (Cocaine) 18-36 Grams, and Possession of a Class E Substance with Intent to Distribute. He will be arraigned in court.
