On January 12th 2022 at about 12:40 PM, members of the Worcester Police Vice Squad, working with a Drug Enforcement Administration task force, executed a search warrant at a Bridgeport St address after an investigation. Officers also had probable cause that resident Alan Rodriguez, twenty-five-years-old, had distributed cocaine and marijuana.
Officers detained Mr. Rodriguez outside the residence, entered the residence, and located two handguns, one of which did not have a serial number. Mr. Rodriguez, who does not have a license to carry firearms, was placed under arrest. In addition, officers found a large amount of marijuana packaged for resale and a bag of suspected psilocybin mushrooms.
Mr. Rodriguez is charged with Distribution of a Class B Substance (Cocaine), two counts of Possession of a Firearm without a License (2nd or subsequent offense), Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device, Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card, Distribution of a Class D Substance, and Possession of a Class C Substance. He will be arraigned in court.
