On April 12th 2022 at about 8 PM Worcester Police officers were dispatched to a large fight at Crompton Park. Officers arrived to find a continuing disturbance, with a large crowd still present and many people yelling at each other. On Harding St, officers located a fifteen-year-old boy who had been stabbed. Officers treated him medically as several individuals pointed out a male they said was responsible for the stabbing. He was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
The male suspect, who was also fifteen-years-old, was still on scene. The scene was still chaotic, with multiple people still screaming and threatening to fight each other. Officers located the fifteen-year-old suspect and placed him under arrest. He is charged with Armed Assault to Murder, Assault and Battery, Affray, Disorderly Conduct and an existing arrest warrant.
Another fifteen-year-old juvenile was placed under arrest and charged with Disorderly Conduct, Disturbing the Peace, Resisting Arrest and Interfering with a Police Investigation. Nineteen-year-old John Ogwalli, nineteen-years-old of Wabash Ave, was placed under arrest for a warrant, Disorderly Conduct, Disturbing the Peace and Trespassing. They will be arranged in court. The fifteen-year-old victim is in stable condition.
