On November 30th at about 8:05 AM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to Woodbine St fo rare port of a stolen motor vehicle. Upon arrival, they spoke with witnesses, who reported that a black Honda had been left running in a residential driveway when a male entered the vehicle and began to drive away. The male struck a parked vehicle, and the vehicle’s owner came outside and began banging on the window. The person in the car struck the vehicle’s owner in the leg and drove away.
Officers issued BOLO information. At about 9:15 AM, officers located the stolen vehicle on Endicott St. The vehicle’s operator, twenty-year-old Carlos Torres of Suffield St, was placed under arrest. He is charged with Larceny of a Motor Vehicle, Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon (Motor Vehicle), Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Injury, and Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Property Damage.
