On June 17th 2022 at about 5:30 PM, Worcester Police Gang Unit officers had a search warrant for a Lawnfair Street address. Officers observed Jayden Vellon, eighteen-years-old, leave the residence. They detained Mr. Vellon and located a loaded handgun in his waistband. They entered the residence and located two additional handguns, magazines and ammunition. Mr. Vellon does not have a license to carry firearms or an FID card, and he was placed under arrest. Carlos Rosario, nineteen-years-old, was also located in the residence and was placed under arrest.
Mr. Vellon is charged with Carrying a Firearm without a License, Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm, Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device, Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card, and two counts of Possession of a Firearm without an FID Card. Mr. Rosario is charged with two counts of Possession of a Firearm without an FID Card and Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card. Both of them will be arraigned in court.
