On March 27th 2024 at about 6:15 PM, Worcester Police officers assigned to the Gang Unit were on patrol in the area of Endicott St when they observed a Mitsubishi drive through the red light on the corner of Endicott and Millbury St. Officers activated the overhead lights and sirens and stopped the vehicle on Ward St. Officers had previously received information that the occupants of this vehicle had been pointing a firearm at people and threatening to shoot people.
Officers approached the vehicle and spoke with eighteen-year-old Govanie Molina of E Kendall St. Due to the information received about the firearm, Mr. Molina was removed from the vehicle. Officers located a loaded handgun in the center console. Mr. Molina does not have a license to carry firearms and was placed under arrest. He is charged with Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm, Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License, Carrying a Firearm without a License, Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card, and Resisting Arrest.
