On October 15th 2022 at about 1 AM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to the area of Green and Harrison St for a report of a crash between a motorcycle and a Chevy Silverado. Upon arrival, officers located a motorcycle laid on its side and an injured twenty-three-year-old male next to it. Officers and Worcester firefighters rendered medical aid until paramedics arrived and transported the male to the hospital. The Crash Reconstruction Unit was called in and took over the investigation.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the operator of the Chevy was traveling south on Green St and was preparing to turn left on Harrison St. The motorcycle operator was traveling at a high rate of speed and struck the rear passenger’s side of the Chevy. The operator of the Chevy got out of his truck and assisted the motorcycle operator, who was seriously injured in the crash. The investigation is open.
