On Thursday June 22, 2023 the Worcester Police Department, with assistance from the Department of Homeland Security and Burlington Police Department, conducted a “John” demand reduction sting in hotels around Worcester. The goal of the sting was to target “Johns” who used the internet to set up meetings with other persons in hotels to purchase sex for a fee. The Worcester Police will continue to work with the Department of Homeland Security to conduct similar operations in and around Worcester at hotels and private residences. The hope is to deter internet-based Human Trafficking offenses from occurring within the City of Worcester.
As a result of the sting, the following individuals were placed under arrest and charged with Paying for Sexual Conduct:
Micah Love-Allotey, thirty-nine-years-old of Worcester
Vincent Phan, twenty-nine-years-old of Worcester
Arthur Gallant, seventy-five-years-old of Boxboro
Sylvester Konadu, thirty-years-old of Worcester
Kyle Fisher, thirty-eight-years-old of Worcester
