On 11/24/2023, thirty-one-year-old Marcel Santos-Padgett of Leicester was placed under arrest at 4 Colombia Park in Haverhill, MA. Mr. Santos-Padgett had an outstanding arrest warrant for the offense of Armed Assault to Murder. The arrest warrant resulted from the investigation into the death of a female at 383 Pleasant St.
The Worcester Police Department would like to thank the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Squad and the Haverhill Police Department for their assistance.

On November 23rd 2023 at about 11:37 AM, Worcester Police Officers were dispatched to Angie’s Body Work Spa on Pleasant St for a report of a female experiencing a possible medical issue. Upon arrival, officers were flagged down by a male who brought them to an unconscious female. Officers rendered medical aid until she was pronounced deceased by Worcester EMS.
Worcester Police Detectives arrived and began the investigation. The death appears to be suspicious.
