On March 22, 2023, Worcester Police responded to a call for a call for service for a large fight in the Beacon St. Sycamore St. area. Two males were arrested after brandishing firearms during the fight. Officers were able to recover the firearms. There were no injuries reported.
Ramon Vega-Rosario, 31, of 3 May Street, Worcester was charged with two Counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Use of Firearm while Committing a Felony, and two counts of Carrying a Firearm without a License.
Luis Ayala, of 34 Beacon Street, was charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Use of Firearm while Committing a Felony, and Carrying a Firearm without a License.
