On October 6th 2022, the Worcester Police Vice Squad possessed a search warrant for a Fairmont Ave apartment. At about 6 PM, officers were set up in surveillance positions when they observed the target, forty-year-old Brandon Powers, leave the residence and get into his vehicle.
Officers followed the vehicle until they stopped it on Pilgrim Ave. Officers observed a bag with what appeared to contain powder and crack cocaine. A search of Mr. Powers and the vehicle revealed additional bags of what appeared to be crack cocaine, heroin, and Suboxone.
Mr. Powers was placed under arrest for an outstanding arrest warrant, Possession of a Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute (2 counts), Possession of a Class A Substance, and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License. He will be arraigned in court.
