The City of Worcester seeks qualified applicants for Senior Clerk and Typist within the License Division for the Worcester Police Department. Under the direction of the Shift Supervisor, this position will work in a manner consistent with the mission and values of the Worcester Police Department, and will require exemplary customer service skills, data entry skills, and will be able to work collaboratively and independently. The Senior Clerk and Typist is responsible for answering phones, booking appointments, and providing customer service for the permitting and licenses process for a License to Carry, Hawkers and Peddlers license, Taxicab, and Livery licenses, Ice Cream vendor license, Secondhand Article license, etc.

SALARY RANGE: $19.01-$22.98 hourly , full-time, with an excellent benefits package.
