TELLER
TREASURER & COLLECTOR OF TAXES

The City of Worcester seeks qualified applicants for a Teller in the Office of the Treasurer and Collector of Taxes. Under the direction of the Head Teller, the Teller is responsible for receipting cash, check, and credit card payments for Real Estate, Personal Property, and Excise taxes, as well as fees, assessments, betterments, or any other municipal charges. The Teller is accountable for the safekeeping, reconciliation, and remittance of all receipts processed by the Collector’s Office. All transactions must be processed in accordance with the Collector’s policies and procedures and must be promptly and accurately entered in the City’s books and records. The Teller must also provide exceptional customer service, and always maintain a high level of professionalism while working with the public.

SALARY RANGE: $ 25.02- $30.18 hourly, full-time with an excellent benefits package.
