The Department of Public Works and Parks Water Division is working to repair a water main break on Water Street at Kelley Square. Drivers are advised to avoid the Kelley Square area.
The break may cause no water, rusty water, or low water pressure to customers, especially those in the downtown area, Main South and Green Island. We advise you to check your cold water taps for discoloration from rust. If you do experience rusty water, delay washing laundry and do not use your hot water taps until the cold water runs clear. The water remains safe to use.
The City of Worcester repairs breaks as quickly as possible and remains mindful of water conservation efforts.
