The Street Sweeping Program is designed to collect sand debris—not to collect yard waste.
Do Not Place Leaf or Brush Piles In the Street
Obey posted “No Parking” signs--Violators may be ticketed $50.00 and towed.
Beginning Tuesday, April 18, 2023, DPW&P will begin residential street sweeping in Routes 1 and 2 shown in the green shaded areas on the map online at the following link: http://www.worcesterma.gov/streets/spring-street-sweeping

The street sweeping areas in Routes 1 and 2 are bounded by Quinapoxet Lane, Burncoat Street, West Boylston Street, Brooks Street, the Holden town line and the West Boylston town line.
Residents in the sweeping area should sweep sidewalk debris into the street. Yard waste must not be placed in the street. Yard Waste will not be collected, and violators may be fined.
The DPW&P sweeps residential side streets from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
