Obey posted “No Parking” signs--Violators will be ticketed $50.00 and towed.
Beginning Wednesday, May 8, 2019, DPW&P will begin residential street sweeping in Routes 20 and 21 shown online at the following link:
http://www.worcesterma.gov/streets/spring-street-sweeping
This street sweeping area is bounded by Vernon St., Ward St., Millbury St., Providence St., Winthrop St., Wabash Ave., and also in areas bounded by Madison St., Cambridge St., Canterbury St., Hammond St. and Southbridge St.
Residents in the sweeping area should sweep sidewalk debris into the street. Yard waste must not be placed in the street. Yard Waste will not be collected and violators may be fined.
The DPW&P sweeps residential side streets from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Yard waste facilities are open on Wednesday and Saturdays. The City’s three Yard Waste sites are open for residents to properly dispose of yard waste. Bagged leaves and brush can be taken to 1065 Millbury Street Wednesdays from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Bagged leaves (no brush) may also be taken to the Chandler Street (across from Foley Stadium) or Clark Street (Near East Mtn. St.) drop-off locations on Wednesdays from 8:30 am to 3:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
