Beginning Wednesday, April 3, 2019, DPW&P will begin residential street sweeping in Routes 25 and 26 shown online at the following link: http://www.worcesterma.gov/streets/spring-street-sweeping
This street sweeping area is bounded by Wildwood Ave., Main St., Gates Ln., Mill St., and Wescott St. and also in areas bounded by Curtis St., Park Ave., Beaver Brook Pkwy., Maywood St., Lovell St., and Circuit Ave. North.
Residents in the sweeping area should sweep sidewalk debris into the street. Yard waste must not be placed in the street. Yard Waste will not be collected and violators may be fined.
The DPW&P sweeps residential side streets from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Yard waste facilities are open Wednesday and Saturday beginning Wednesday, April 3. The City’s three Yard Waste sites will be open for residents to properly dispose of yard waste. Bagged leaves and brush can be taken to 1065 Millbury Street Wednesdays from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Bagged leaves (no brush) may also be taken to the Chandler Street (across from Foley Stadium) or Clark Street (Near East Mtn. St.) drop-off locations on Wednesdays from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
