  The Board of Election Commissioners has received a communication from the Secretary of the Commonwealth that Candidate Lisa K. Mair, 31 Ball Hill Road, Berlin has requested a hand recount of all the Republican ballots cast at the Presidential Primary Election held on March 5, 2024 for the office of Republican, State Committee Woman, First Worcester District. The recount shall commence at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2024 in the Levi Lincoln Chamber, 3rd floor of City Hall. The blocking of Republican ballots into packs of fifty (50) shall commence at 12:00 pm on Friday, March 15^th

  One of two meeting chambers situated in Worcester City Hall, this room is named after Levi Lincoln, Jr. (1782 - 1868) an American lawyer and politician. He served as Governor of Massachusetts from 1825 to 1834 and in the United States Congress from 1834 to 1841. Born in Worcester he was a major civic and philanthropic force, owning and developing land in the city, and serving as its first mayor in 1848.
