Board of Election Commissioners

  The Board of Election Commissioners will host several voter informational meetings with the Human Rights Commission for the purpose of explaining the 2023 School Committee District election process. The City Clerk will also present updates on the 2023 Municipal Election Process.

  • Wednesday, August 9^th at 5:30 PM- Esther Howland Chamber, 455 Main St., Worcester
  • Wednesday, September 13^th at 5:30 PM - Levi Lincoln Chamber, 455 Main St., Worcester
  • Wednesday, October 4^th at 5:30 PM- Levi Lincoln Chamber, 455 Main St., Worcester

  Members of the public are encouraged to attend the presentation. Spanish translation is offered for these meetings. If other languages are requested interpreters will need to be requested at least 48 hours in advance.

  One of two meeting chambers situated in Worcester City Hall, this room is named after Esther Howland (1828 - 1904) an artist and businesswoman who was responsible for popularizing Valentine's Day greeting cards in America. Although Valentine's Day cards had been available in America for more than half a century before Esther started her business she was the first person to ever commercialize them in America. Her valentines became renowned throughout the United States and she was called "The Mother of the American Valentine".
