Join us for the inaugural Green Worcester Summit! This year's theme is "Building Resilience, Together." This event is organized by the City Department of Sustainability and Resilience and will focus on showcasing actions that can be taken to improve resilience and livability of our communities!
Learn about Miyawaki Forest pilots, CoolPockets, raingarden case studies and other nature-based solutions for residents, businesses and institutions in our city. Whether you're a seasoned environmental advocate or are interested in learning more about resilience, this event offers something for everyone. We hope this will be a day filled with education, inspiration and action as we work together to build a more resilient Worcester.
During the summit, participants will have a unique opportunity to actively contribute to Worcester's sustainability and resilience efforts by participating in the planting of one of the City's first Miyawaki Forests. People of all ages and abilities are welcome and encouraged to attend.
