Worcester, MA (November 4, 2014) - A host of activities, including the annual Veterans' Day Parade, are planned in Worcester to mark the 61st Annual Veterans' Day on Tuesday, November 11th. These events are co-sponsored by the Worcester Veterans' Council, City of Worcester Veterans' Services Division, Veterans Inc. and the Massachusetts Vietnam Veterans' Perpetual Care Committee.
8:00 AM Pancake Breakfast: Veterans Inc., 69 Grove Street, Worcester.
11:00 AM Parade: Parade begins at the north end of Grove Street at Glennie Street. It will proceed down Grove Street to the Veterans Inc. Historical Armory, 44 Salisbury Street. For information regarding parade participation please call 1-800-482-2565 ext. 154.
12:00 PM Speaking Program: At the Historical Armory, featuring guest speaker Gabriel Nutter. Mr. Nutter is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and is the regional team leader for the Division of Veterans' Services SAVE Team.
2:00 PM Wreath Laying Ceremony: At the Massachusetts Vietnam Veterans' Memorial in Green Hill Park, off Lincoln and Belmont Streets.
