The City of Worcester is pleased to announce that beginning October 4, 2018, American Airlines will offer daily service from the Worcester Regional Airport to Philadelphia International Airport.
The announcement follows the completion of Massport’s $32M CAT III landing system and arrives on the heels of jetBlue’s new commercial service from Worcester to JFK International airport in New York City beginning May 2018.
The Worcester Regional Airport has seen tremendous growth since 2013 when jetBlue announced that it would bring commercial service back to the City with a single destination between Worcester and Florida. Since then, more than 450,000 have flown in and out of the Worcester Regional Airport.
