As the City continues to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, Worcester residents tending to City business are reminded that visitors to City Hall and 25 Meade St. are advised to schedule appointments ahead of visits.
In addition, municipal services continue to be available online, and by phone or mail, while drop boxes for the deposit of permit applications remain in place.
City Hall hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Hours of operation at 25 Meade St., which houses Inspectional Services, Worcester Division of Public Health and Fire Prevention, are also 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Main Branch of Worcester Public Library is open Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. All visitors requiring use of a computer should schedule an appointment in advance by visiting mywpl.org, or calling 508-799-1655. Pick-up of items on hold is allowed throughout the day, and does not require an appointment.
One City One Library branches have the following hours, effective Monday, March 15:
Burncoat: Wednesday-Thursday, 3-6 p.m.; Saturday, 2:30-5:50 p.m.
Goddard: Wednesday-Thursday, 3-6 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to Noon.
Roosevelt: Monday-Tuesday, 3-6 p.m.; Saturday, 2:30-5:30 p.m.
Tatnuck" Monday-Tuesday, 3-6 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to Noon.
The Great Brook Valley branch of the Worcester Public Library, opening March 16, will operate Tuesdays, 2-5 p.m.; Wednesdays, 2-5 p.m.; Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to noon and 2-5 p.m.; and Friday, 2-5 p.m.
The Frances Perkins Branch, opening March 22, will accommodate computer appointments and limited browsing of the collection on Mondays, 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Fridays, 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Curbside pickup will be available Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Thursdays, 2-6 p.m.
