WORCESTER, Mass. – The City of Worcester invites residents to participate in the second public forum for the development of Worcester’s Housing Production Plan (HPP) on Monday, Dec. 9, at 5:30 p.m. via Zoom.
All residents are encouraged to join, contribute, and help shape a plan that will ensure housing in Worcester is accessible, affordable, and responsive to residents’ needs.
The forum provides an opportunity for community members to review and share their thoughts on the draft goals and strategies that will guide Worcester’s housing policies over the next five years. Public feedback will play a critical role in refining the final objectives and actions outlined in the plan.
The HPP aims to address local housing needs, establish a shared vision for the community, and create a roadmap of actionable steps to ensure all Worcester residents have access to quality, affordable housing that meets their needs.
The plan is a five-year roadmap to meet the city’s housing needs, address affordability, and provide clear strategies for housing development. By gathering community input, the HPP process aims to build a shared vision for Worcester’s housing future, including homes that reflect the community's diversity and support sustainable economic growth.
Residents can join the forum via Zoom, and may register in advance at https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_zlCoC2mGTRypBqwL4-tmSQ.
