The Worcester Fire Department will host a Media Day event for the 2018 Recruit Academy on Monday, June 11 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at department headquarters, 141 Grove Street.
The event will begin with a short presentation from the 2018 recruit class, followed by a live fire and auto extrication demonstration. Members of the media are invited to participate in the live fire demonstration and will be provided with turnout gear and an instructor.
