WORCESTER, Mass. – The City of Worcester Fire Department will host a memorial dedication ceremony for Lt. Jason “Jay” Menard on Nov. 13, 2024, the 5-year anniversary of his line of duty death.
The Worcester Fire Department and city officials will gather for a memorial unveiling, the striking of a memorial box, and the placing of a wreath in remembrance of Lt. Menard, who died in the line of duty while fighting a fire at 7 Stockholm St. on November 13, 2019. He was 39.
