Worcester, MA (March 5, 2014) - The goal of the Worcester Energy Program is to encourage residents, businesses and institutions throughout the City to save energy through investments in energy efficiency and sustainability.
In March 2014, the Worcester Energy Program launched a revised Residential Rebate Pilot designed to help defray the costs for Worcester homeowners who implement upgrades resulting in improved home energy efficiency & comfort and energy bill reduction (through upgrades such as: insulation, energy efficient heating and cooling equipment, deep energy retrofits, renewable energy installations, etc.). The Pilot will also demonstrate energy efficiency gains resulting from the completion of the approved projects through a comparison of pre- and post-installation energy consumption (measured via Energy Performance Scorecards).
