Worcester DPH to co-host Public Forum on 2018 Greater Worcester Community Health Assessment, July 12

The City of Worcester Division of Public Health, Fallon Health, UMass Memorial Medical Center and the Central Massachusetts Regional Public Health Alliance have partnered to conduct the 2018 Greater Worcester Community Health Assessment (CHA).

The partners will host a Community Review and Feedback Session – 2018 Community Health Assessment Priorities on Thursday, July 12 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Worcester Public Library (Saxe Room). This event is free and open to the public.

Last completed in 2015, a CHA is conducted every three years to help understand key problems that affect public health as well as assess community strengths.

Discussion topics at the feedback session will include:

• What do you see as the major health concerns in your community?
• Are there segments of the population that struggle to maintain their health?
• What are the leading barriers to care?
• What community resources do you use, and what would you like to see offered in your area?
