Worcester, MA (August 29, 2011) - The City of Worcester’s Department of Public Works and Parks will operate three Yard Waste Sites for Worcester residents to bring leaf and storm debris, beginning Monday, August 29th through Saturday, September 3rd. Hours of operation are from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays). The following Yard Waste Sites are open: Chandler Street (across from Foley Stadium); Clark Street (near East Mountain Street and Clark Street intersection); and Millbury Street (formerly the Ballard Street site, now off Rte. 146).
Please note that branches or limbs greater than 1 inch in diameter MUST be brought to Millbury Street Site. Residents are asked NOT to place debris along the curb line.
