Worcester, MA (June 1, 2016) - The City of Worcester ("City"), through the City Manager's Executive Office of Economic Development, is issuing a Request for Interest (RFI) for the Worcester Memorial Auditorium located at One Lincoln Square in Downtown Worcester. The City is seeking a qualified purchaser/developer to redevelop the property.
The Worcester Memorial Auditorium consists of 110,668 square feet of gross building area located on 2.42 acres in the North Main Street area of Downtown Worcester. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Institutional District (NRHP District No. 80000554). The site is zoned Business, General 6.0 (BG-6.0).
Proposers will be able to tour the property with a City escort on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 10:00 AM and Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Please meet the City escort at the entrance on Institute Road.
Letters of Interest are due at the City of Worcester Executive Office of Economic Development, Business and Community Development Division, Room 402, City Hall, Worcester, Massachusetts 01608 no later than July 22, 2016 at 4:00 PM.
