The two-week event will kick off at 4:30 p.m. Friday, with a public concert at each location, featuring local musicians Dan Burke, Martin Gohary, Miles Flisher, and Brooks Milgate. City Manager Edward M. Augustus Jr. will speak at the event at Peace Park.
“The arts play such a huge role in the vitality and quality of life of our city, and we’re looking for every way possible to fulfill our goal to Make Art Everywhere,” said City Manager Augustus. “I’m looking forward to our talented residents filling the streets with music for the next two weeks.”
Each piano was given a unique paint job by a local artist. The City thanks Kristian Rodriguez, Melvin Rivera, Hank Von Hellion, and John Vo for lending their talents to the project.
