Worcester, MA (July 26, 2011) - You are cordially invited to attend and participate in Mass Remembers - Voices of Hope, a statewide commemorative event honoring those who lost their lives, sacrificed and responded to the tragedy of September 11, 2001. This year will mark the tenth anniversary of this devastating tragedy in our nation’s history.
Professional, community and children’s choruses from across the Commonwealth will join together in song with members of fire, police and servicemen and women on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Institute Park, off Salisbury Street, in Worcester, Massachusetts to mark this solemn occasion. Through the solace and transformation of music sung collectively, we will demonstrate the power of community and renew our dedication to a nation that is committed to freedom and justice for all.
Your participation in this poignant memorial service would mean so much to so many, especially the men and women who continue to serve our country overseas, the families of those affected by the 9/11 tragedy and the citizens of the Commonwealth.
