For Immediate Release: 8/10/2020 9:08 am
The Worcester License Commission will hold a special forum to discuss outdoor dining at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11.
The forum will include an overview of outdoor dining rules and requirements, including those for the City’s temporary outdoor dining program, which was established in response to the COVID-19 pandemic as part of Gov. Baker’s Phase II reopening plan.
Following the presentation, the Commission will hear from restaurateurs and the community at large concerning the challenges and barriers to successful outdoor dining areas. The Commission will also listen to ideas for improving the outdoor dining program, both on an interim basis during the COVID-19 crisis and on a longer-term permanent basis.
The meeting will be livestreamed on the City website at www.worcesterma.gov/video-on-demand. To participate in the conversation, please call 415-655-0001 (Access Code: 1606609360).
