Free walk-up testing for the COVID-19 virus is being done this week as part of the state’s Stop the Spread campaign, and is sponsored by the City of Worcester and UMass Memorial Healthcare COVID-19 Equity Task Force, including Worcester Interfaith.
Flu shots, which are highly recommended this season, are also available with insurance.
On Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1-5 p.m., free testing and a resource fair will be available at Great Brook Valley, 19 Tacoma St.
On Thursday, Oct. 22, 12-4 p.m., free testing and a resource fair will be available at Community Healthlink, 72 Jaques Ave.
On Saturday, Oct. 24, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., free testing and a resource fair will be offered at Green Island Neighborhood Center (Crompton Park), 50 Canton St.,
No appointments are necessary, and a free mask and hand sanitizer will be provided with tests.
All attendees are reminded to wear a mask or face covering and to maintain social distancing.
