Free walk-up testing for the COVID-19 virus in Worcester is being offered as part of the state’s Stop the Spread campaign. The testing is sponsored by the City of Worcester and UMass Memorial Healthcare COVID-19 Equity Task Force, including Worcester Interfaith.
Flu shots, which are highly recommended this season, are also available with insurance.
On Monday, Oct. 26, 12-4 p.m., free testing and a resource fair will be available at the Main South Community Development Corporation, 875 Main St.
On Thursday, Oct. 29, 12-4 p.m., free testing and a resource fair will be offered at Community Healthlink, 72 Jaques Ave.
No appointments are necessary, and a free mask and hand sanitizer will be provided with tests.
All attendees are reminded to wear a mask or face covering and to maintain social distancing.
