UPDATE: As a part of the current efforts to restore full water service to the customers impacted by the Goddard Memorial Drive water main break, an interim solution has been installed. Though the measures taken will restore water access, affected customers may experience lower than normal pressures or discoloration. The City of Worcester Department of Public Works & Parks will be working towards rectifying all known issues with permanent repairs. Work is ongoing.
WORCESTER, Mass. – The City of Worcester Department of Public Works & Parks is working to fix a water main break on Goddard Memorial Drive.
The southbound lane from Parsons Hill Drive to Apricot Street is closed. A detour has been set up in the northbound lane. Travelers are advised to expect delays. Water to nearby homes in the area has been turned off as crews work to make repairs.
