WORCESTER, Mass. – Due to a high heat index Thursday and Friday, the City of Worcester is activating several cooling centers for residents.
Below is a schedule of hours and locations. Each facility will have supplies of water on hand for distribution.

City officials remind residents that prolonged exposure to high temperatures and humidity impact the body’s natural cooling systems and can lead to elevated body temperature and risk of illness.
